Bill Clinton Campaigning for Barack Obama and Al Franken In Minneapolis, Thursday, October 20, 2008

Former President Bill Clinton will hold a campaign rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, October 30, 2008, stumping on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken. The Obama campaign announced the visit Monday but said details of the appearance won’t be available until later in the week.  Details will be posted to the photoprez.com blog as they become available.

As the Democrats’ most powerful surrogate for their presidential nominee, former President Bill Clinton recently has been ramping up his travels on Obama’s behalf. He last visited Minneapolis, MN a year ago, headlining a rally for his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, who at the time was the front-runner for the Democratic nomination.

SUMMARY OF OBAMA CAMPAIGN SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 27, 2008- On Monday, Obama delivers his closing argument speech in Canton, OH and then travels to Pittsburgh, PA. Michelle Obama will be in California taping Jay Leno’s show and then holds a rally in Las Vegas. Sen. Joe Biden campaigns in North Carolina and Florida. On Tuesday, Obama’s in Delaware County, PA, Harrisonburg, VA and Norfolk, VA. Michelle Obama will be in New Mexico and Colorado. And Biden will be in Florida. On Wednesday, Barack Obama will campaign in North Carolina, South Florida, appear with President Clinton in Orlando, and host a thirty minute television commercial on most of the TV networks. Joe Biden will be in Florida. Michelle Obama campaigns in Colorado and North Carolina.
