VOTING FAQ: Election Day is November 4th For Everybody

Voters in some states have been getting letters and flyers about voting on November 5th instead of November 4th because of “the high turnout expected at the polls.” These letters are untrue. Election Day is November 4th – for everybody, regardless of political party.

Unless your state allows early voting and you voted early or by absentee ballot, you must come to the polls on November 4th. November 4th is the absolute last possible day to vote in person, in order to have your vote count.

If you are voting absentee and are mailing in your ballot, check your state law by visiting www.VoteForChange.com to find the deadline for mailing the ballot and/or when your local election officials actually must receive it.

Make sure your friends and family know the truth about voting. Spread the word that we’re counting on them to be at the polls on November 4th.

To find your correct polling location, you can call 1-877-US4-OBAMA (1-877-874-6226) or go to www.VoteForChange.com.

You can also learn more by going to your state’s Secretary of State’s website.
